McDonald’s may finally be bringing back the snack wrap, and fans are hungry for answers.

McDonald’s discontinued the fan-favorite snack wrap, featuring crispy or grilled chicken, in 2016. After nearly a decade of fan demands and online petitions, the snack wrap is set to return.

A Cryptic Clue from McDonald’s

On April 15, McDonald’s dropped a teaser on Twitter, posting:
“snack wraps 0x.14.2025.”
No context. No clarification. Just enough to send the internet into a frenzy.

Food Bloggers and Fans Decode the Drop

Food influencers quickly began speculating, with popular Instagram food account Snackolator guessing that the wraps could return by May or June, definitely “by summer.” The comment section lit up with nostalgic joy, with one fan writing, “Yes I miss them they were good.”

Others, however, voiced concerns about pricing, asking if they’ll return at their original price point—or be inflated like everything else on the menu.

What We Know So Far

McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger confirmed in December 2024 that snack wraps would return in 2025. Though the exact date remains unclear, this cryptic tweet seems to mark the next step.

McDonald’s has yet to officially confirm the return date, but if fan theories are right, summer 2025 could finally bring the snack wrap back into drive-thrus.
