Honoring the Past

Its vivid yellow exterior, reminiscent of the 2015 Scion FR-S Series 1.0, is the source of the Yuzu name. The Scion FR-S was directly replaced by Toyota’s GR86, therefore this color return pays homage to its heritage.

Vibrant Style, Enhancements in Performance

Beyond the color, the Yuzu Special Edition has the following features:

•  Black suede seats with yellow highlights 
•  Matte-black 18-inch wheels providing a striking contrast 
•  Yellow stitching on the steering wheel, handbrake, and door padding

But appearances aren’t everything. Included with this model is the GR86 Performance Package. as standard, adding:

•   Brembo brakes (front and rear)
•   SACHS shock absorbers for improved handling

Toyota also offers optional upgrades, including a cat-back exhaust and a body kit for those seeking an even sportier touch.

Timeless Fun with the Same Engine

The 2026 GR86 Yuzu Special Edition’s 2.4-liter flat-four engine, which generates 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, remains the same. Either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission is included. It’s not the fastest sports car, but it’s fun to drive because to its lightweight chassis and agile handling.

Limited Availability

Only 860 units of the GR86 Yuzu Special Edition will be available in the U.S. The car is expected to hit dealerships by fall 2025, with pricing details to be announced closer to launch.
