2026 Aston Martin DBX : 717 HP and race-inspired tech push limit
2026 Aston Martin DBX S: Aston Martin raises the bar once again in the premium SUV market. Now the brand’s flagship model, the 2026 DBX S boasts 717 horsepower, improved handling, and weight-saving technologies inspired by the Valhalla supercar.
Increased Twin-Turbo V-8 Power
Utilizing the hybrid Valhalla’s technology, the DBX S keeps the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine but adds new turbochargers and internal modifications to increase output to 717 horsepower, which is 20 horsepower more than the DBX 707.
Aston Martin claims 0–62 mph in 3.3 seconds, while revised gear ratios offer quicker downshifts and an extended rev range.
Lighter and Sharper
Buyers can spec a carbon fiber roof, saving nearly 40 pounds, and 23-inch magnesium wheels that trim another 42 pounds of unsprung mass. The lighter wheels improve ride quality and steering feel.
A revised steering ratio makes the DBX S more agile, especially in tight spaces, with a shorter turning radius and quicker response.
Track-Ready Aesthetics and Sound
The DBX S features aggressive visual tweaks, including:
- A new front splitter
- Redesigned side sills and diffuser
- Vertically stacked quad exhaust tips
- Optional carbon fiber accents and a Rosso Corsa Red trim package
The exhaust system has been updated to better express the V-8’s growl.
An opulent and athletic interior
Red seat belts, optional carbon trim, and semi-aniline leather bolsters compliment the new herringbone Alcantara seats inside. The base sound system has 14 speakers, but there is a 23-speaker Bowers & Wilkins option.
Availability and Pricing
Orders are now open. While pricing is unannounced, estimates place it near $300,000, slightly above the $256,086 starting price of the DBX 707. Deliveries are expected in Q4 2025.
